News from the Hylas Yard

New delivery of Hylas H46

For the folks who have just taken delivery of Hylas H46 hull 76 – SV Hylander, there may be a few more miles required to get them back to their homeland but their first offshore passage has been a huge success. As part of every Hylas build agreement there is the support of training and vessel familiarization under the watchful eye of a qualified Hylas skipper. Don and Diane, known amongst friends as the “D Macs”, chose to have Christian Pschorr, Hylas Program & Service Director, join them on passage for the training. All reports have been of an exhilarating and rapid run from Fort Lauderdale to Long Island Sound. As you would expect from a Hylas she performed well in the lively 10ft headseas and kept the pace up in the light stuff under the “flower of Scotland” colored spinnaker. Congratulations guys and  Slàinte Mhath!
