DESIGNED BY GERMAN FRERS

The European agent for Hylas yachts, Hylas Yachts Ltd, is pleased to announce the addition of a new yacht, the Hylas 51, to its range of boats.

The new Hylas 51 is designed by German Frers and will be built by the Queen Long Marine Co in Taiwan.

The Hylas 51 will be a semi-custom built, three-cabin, bluewater cruiser ideal for short–handed, long-distance ocean passages.

The new Hylas 51 will differ significantly from the other yachts in the Hylas range but will also retain the exceptional high standards of craftsmanship and build for which the yard is well-known.

Hylas Yachts Ltd are aiming to produce a very high performance, lighter weight yacht which will update and improve the already high standards Hylas achieve. The decks will be clearer, the sail area higher, the keel deeper and the waterline longer – all giving it that classic, unforgettable Frers’ look.

This exciting new yacht will be launched in 2009 at the Southampton Boat Show.
