She was extremely well received at the Southampton Boat Show in September 2004 where she was exhibited for the first time in Europe. There are three double cabins, a fully-equipped galley and on deck the cockpit is deep and secure with perfect visibility for the helmsman. There are over fifty Hylas 49s sailing around the world, each a testament to her abilities as an offshore performance yacht.
